Miniature Bubble Tea and Teatime Cakes for BJDs

Tea time!

i love my new photos :) So colourful!

These are my fave hee.

I spent the last few weeks moving furniture around in my room so I could control this sinus problem of mine, and decided to put my work table next to the window for better phototaking. I think i like the results :E

no editing was done on the photos WOOHOO

also listed some more drinks, they seem to be pretty popular and were snapped up pretty quickly the last time :)

The event was a blur for both Asuka and I, and there were so many participants at our booth that we decided to wait for the 'professional' photos instead of taking our own XD well, i did take some, but they weren't exactly miniature nor doll related HAHAHAHA

(hope the link works)

anyway, there's a wonderful post here with beautiful photos of the dolls on display:

Thank you to all those who came down to show your support! :)

All the items I made for the exhibit are now listed on my Etsy!

back to my gameplaying :E Who else is playing Don't Starve??? speaking of which, i haven't yet had breakfast and it's already 1:15pm :O

Miniatures for BJDs (1:3) are now available! ^ ^

1:3 scale miniature macarons with piped embellishments

Managed to package all the macarons ^ ^ They are all available at my Etsy store:

some drinks in 1:3 scale are available too :) I ran out of resin making these, but will attempt to restock this weekend ^ ^

Enjoyed making these too, the tilted one simulating a half-drunk cup was really tricky, but it is my fave :D also listed in the store! closeups of individual pieces are in the listings, too many to show here.....

[obligatory vanity shots of my latest items together XD ]
I don't feel anymore excited or anxious about EOY 2012, I guess it's cos I'm not really selling, and that has put me in a more relaxed mood to enjoy making these items :) The rainy and cold weather has caused some old injuries to flare up, meaning I took quite a number of painkillers this week, so that might have contributed to the relatively good mood I'm in XD

Thank you for your patience!

Here's a sneak preview. I will likely list these and put up the pricelist in a separate post tomorrow, so stay tuned! Have a grrrrrreat weekend!

1:3 Miniature Chocolate Tarts!

 1:3 miniature chocolate dome cake
It has been quite a mess in my room lately! A friend of mine asked if I was interested in working on a doll-related exhibit, and since Asuka and I had been looking for opportunities to work together again, this was an opportunity not to be missed!
1:3 miniature chocolate treats. very figure-friendly, since they're inedible :S

I enjoy working on such projects, as it is reasonably less stressful. There's room to be creative, inventive as well as an opportunity to use up my ADC (air dry clay) stash. Some of my clay had hardened somewhat during storage (ADC usually has a shelf life, even in its original unopened packaging T-T), and although the weather has been quite humid lately, it also means I had more working time with the clay :)

1:3 Miniature Chocolate tart and dome cake
Strawberry slices fanned out look so purtee!~ Do you like my new logo too??? :P I intended to use this logo for my 'new website' (as you know, seems to always be WIP XD), but working on graphics is not my wrist/shoulder's best friend, amidst countless other excuses.....*blinks innocently*

I mentioned to Asuka that these tarts look like they were baked by someone who's scrimping on ingredients. Somewhat mis-gauged the thickness of the 'mousse' layer, realized this only after I sliced it -_-"

So what is this event that we will be at? it is on the 9th of December 2012, and we'll be at the Doll Cafe @ EOY Cosplay Festival 2012!
(strange, the website was up earlier this afternoon, maybe there were some changes :-/)

I've got a number of items still in the works, as does Asuka, and Fujiwara Yukino! We won't be selling anything there, but please, drop by, take photos, and say hi if you can! :)

Miniature Sweet Charlotte Cakes and Tarts

1:12 miniature fruity charlotte cake
The sweets are back! I made a few charlotte cakes a while back, but never took the time to photograph nor list them, however they are available now!
1:12 miniature creamy charlotte cake (this one is my fave!)

1:12 miniature raspberry chocolate charlotte cake

1:12 miniature cherry chocolate charlotte cake
(it's hard to capture the detail on this since it's so dark in the centre! the chocolate has little gold flecks on it...i might have to take a new photo with daylight.....

i tried something new, a square cake with visible insides (eh what's the correct term?) and this little one sold rather quickly! Thank you!

1:12 miniature kiwi tart, with a slice taken out of it

1:12 miniature mixed berries tart

I have also renewed some listings and taken new photos, some items have reduced prices as I need to clear some stocks and make way for 2013's listings ;)
