i love my new photos :) So colourful!

These are my fave hee. 

I spent the last few weeks moving furniture around in my room so I could control this sinus problem of mine, and decided to put my work table next to the window for better phototaking. I think i like the results :E

no editing was done on the photos WOOHOO

also listed some more drinks, they seem to be pretty popular and were snapped up pretty quickly the last time :)

The event was a blur for both Asuka and I, and there were so many participants at our booth that we decided to wait for the 'professional' photos instead of taking our own XD well, i did take some, but they weren't exactly miniature nor doll related HAHAHAHA

Enjoyed making these too, the tilted one simulating a half-drunk cup was really tricky, but it is my fave :D also listed in the store! closeups of individual pieces are in the listings, too many to show here.....

I don't feel anymore excited or anxious about EOY 2012, I guess it's cos I'm not really selling, and that has put me in a more relaxed mood to enjoy making these items :) The rainy and cold weather has caused some old injuries to flare up, meaning I took quite a number of painkillers this week, so that might have contributed to the relatively good mood I'm in XD

All items are handmade by me out of mostly air dry clay, and sealed. They are splashproof but not waterproof. These are all collectible items, and NOT TOYS.

I also have some other items for immediate sale :) I'm not sure how busy I will be, but it is likely I will also re-opening my DoA marketplace thread when I can :) Thank you for all the lovely e-mails regarding commission work via DoA, it has been a tough year for me, reading the words of encouragement has renewed my resolve to start selling again, and also in larger scales. ^ ^ I will however, -not- be opening up my commissions yet, and will update when things have settled a little more here. Thank you for your patience!

It has been quite a mess in my room lately! A friend of mine asked if I was interested in working on a doll-related exhibit, and since Asuka and I had been looking for opportunities to work together again, this was an opportunity not to be missed!

I enjoy working on such projects, as it is reasonably less stressful. There's room to be creative, inventive as well as an opportunity to use up my ADC (air dry clay) stash. Some of my clay had hardened somewhat during storage (ADC usually has a shelf life, even in its original unopened packaging T-T), and although the weather has been quite humid lately, it also means I had more working time with the clay :)

Strawberry slices fanned out look so purtee!~ Do you like my new logo too??? :P I intended to use this logo for my 'new website' (as you know, snowfern.com seems to always be WIP XD), but working on graphics is not my wrist/shoulder's best friend, amidst countless other excuses.....*blinks innocently*

 I mentioned to Asuka that these tarts look like they were baked by someone who's scrimping on ingredients. Somewhat mis-gauged the thickness of the 'mousse' layer, realized this only after I sliced it -_-"

(it's hard to capture the detail on this since it's so dark in the centre! the chocolate has little gold flecks on it...i might have to take a new photo with daylight.....
